Thinking about turning my 30gal bow front into a peacock tank. from what i've read this is a appropriate size but it just seems to small to me. Was wondering what size tank peacock owners here keep theirs in.

IMO 40 breeders are perfect for O. scyllarus. What are the dimensions of your 30? I had one in a 37 gallon but it was narrow and tall and not big enough. It was a lot like a 20 long but taller. I see a lot of peacocks in 20 longs but those aren't big enough IMO.

I have mine in a 56 gallon. He was in a 10 for a little bit, but was miserable. He has been more active in the 56 and I see him a lot more.
