Forgetting a controller

I sold my full apex a few months ago. Just recently the new owner is trying to set it up on his tank. However everything is still reporting as if it is mine. I get the texts and emails every time it powers up and down. I am even able to login into it through fusion.

How do I forget this apex? If I log into the fusion page that gives the serial number, under settings it gives the option to remove. Is this enough?

The new owner will need to remove your email address through the network setup area in the classic dashboard. Removing it from fusion may help, but won't keep you from getting notifications via email.
