I have 4 fish in quarantine atm. Did 7 days of Prozi, then 7 days carbon with big water changes and am now on day 3 of formalin.

Once the formalin treatment is done, do I restart the tank? Run carbon? Formalin naturally evaporates, but I can’t remember at what rate.

I have a Tomini Tang at my LFS waiting for me to pick up. So I’d like to get the quarantine tank restarted ASAP. I suppose, I could continue the formalin afterwards. But then I would want to do prozi after that, so at some point, I would still need to get the formalin out.

Also, do I need to dip the fish before getting it into my DT?

Hope this is the correct thread. And PS, I did a Google search.

Formalin typically leaves solution at a rate of 20 to 30 mg/l per 24 hours.

That said, formalin isn't a super-effective quarantine treatment for marine fish. Don't rely on a final dip either - those simply do not remove 100% of the parasites, so fish are just "cleaner" after a dip, not parasite free.
