Koralking has the lowest prices on the Helio Smart Heaters I have found. It looks like they only have a few left.

Cool tech, but kind of complicated for the job.
Are they as reliable as they need to be?

I would say yes. But it’s best to do one’s own research.
I don’t find it complicated, I find it quite straightforward lol. And the redundancy is a must in my opinion. And the unit will be connected to the Apex unit for additional redundancy:)

Update this with your experience, good or bad.

My experience with Apex is good. I work with custom PLC systems and show controls for water/fire features and special effects, so my understand of the ins and outs of monitoring and control help.
As for the Helio Smart Heater, this will be my first trying it. The technology in their heating elements and reviews are enough for me. it's not a complicated system.
