Bought a new springer damsel and placed into my tank. I couldn’t find it the next day. Thought he was just hiding. 2 days go by and still cannot see him. Yesterday, I see my anemone starting to spit its guts out. Started freaking out because I thought he may be stressed. Turns out that it was the springer damsel digested.

I had something similar happen, my Mini Maxi Carpet Nem had a whole 4.5 inch Marcosi Tilefish swim right into its mouth, and I had a few other fish vanish when I had my large green nem (never could get a good ID of it) and I wouldn’t be surprised if it had a couple of late night snacks…

I had a good sized anenome in my 90g back in the day that my Maroon Clown hosted. I was just a little nervous that it would get one of my four Damsels I had in the tank. Thankfully, they all survived. Probably cause they'd have to get by the clown if they wanted to investigate. And that Maroon owned that side of the tank!
