I have a yong tank that is just less than 3 months old. I've been taking it slow with fish additions and don't really plan on adding corals until after the new year rolls around. However, I did add a green star polyp a few weeks back as sort of an indicator. In my previous reefing life I couldn't kill one of these things, so I figured it would stay alive, but if it thrived, it might mean something about the overall health of the tank.
Anyway, I transfered my foxface out of quarantine about a week ago, and I've noticed that it likes to hang out with it's belly rubbing on the GSP. It moves around the tank a lot, and has a few hangouts, but I do see it with the GSP several times a day.
Do these corals not sting the fish? The coral doesn't seem to mind, but when the fish moves on there is a fish-belly depression in the coral for a while
