March 2020: order placed.

06/03/2020: First shipment arrived. Why first? See bellow:

Broken sump and ATO tank, main display badly scratched.

06/11/2020: Second shipment arrived from WB. UPS freight messed up again.

Sump broken again, display scratched badly. Called WB to request a change in delivery company. UPS freight can not touch my delivery again.

06/16/2020: Third time was a charm. Finally have a perfect system.

06/27/2020: fish and coral transferred in from Reefer 170.

6feet tank, 4feet of 2in starboard on the bottom, the rest filled with sand for future wrass and goby/pistol shrimp pair.

06/23/2020: Ordered CO2 regulator from Alan Le for my calcium reactor. Have not had good luck with shipping. One of the gauges was damaged. Its easily replaced. No big deal.

08/23/2020: Calcium Reactor online.

11/01/2020: purple tang and yellow tang started bickering. So I went out to get 2 more yellow, a blonde naso and a convict tang.

The convict sadly didn’t make it. He was awfully skinny when i got it. Refused to eat during quarantine.

Been looking for a Magnificent Anemone for awhile locally in NY. Finally had one ordered to NY Reef Aquatics. A red base, yellow tips healthy specimen, dispite the murky water it came in.
Acclaimation involved flushing the anemone with DT water 3 times every 20 minutes while stimulating flow in the bag with a turkey baster.
First night, a bit deflated, struggling to hold on due to high flow. I had to turn of 2 pumps out of 4.

Looking much better a day after.

The 2 clowns hovering around checking out their new home. But havent jumped in yet.

You have had some bad luck with shipping!! That was crazy. Glad you finally got it and it is up and running, that you do not have bad luck with as your display looks amazing! How is the calcium reactor working out for you?

Thanks Mike.
Calcium reactor is an AquaMaxx T2. It was surprisingly stable and have had no leak so far. Its not quite plug and play since i had to put together the pump, put plumbers tape on all thread connections etc. out put from CalRx is a constant stream to avoid buildup at the valve. The most important piece of that setup, I believe , is the dual gauge CO2 regulator. It makes maintaining constant ph inside the CalRx easy.
