Fragfarmers Watermelon Chalice

Since it's getting closer to xmas time I have been thinking about selling a few of my corals. One coral I was thinking about selling is my Fragfarmers watermelon chalice. The only thing is I can't find anywhere to locate a value for this thing. Has anyone seen one for sale recently or does anyone know a ball park value? It has ten full eyes and is about the size of a fifty cent piece. Thanks for any help.

I think the chalice market has hit a real dump lately IMO. I have seen many high end pieces go dirt cheap lately. I think if your gonna try and make xmass funds out of it right now it the time due to others will try the same when its closer to the date but i would suggest starting in the 500-750 range.

good luck getting 500-700 range...sold when chalices were hot for 200 a eye..I got a 4 eyes frag a while ago for 300..all about supply and demand

It's a piece that a lot of folks have now so it brings down the value a bit. But there are people who would be interested in a piece the size you are talking. Just be prepared to negotiate on the price or perhaps work some trade + cash deal if applicable. Prices have dropped drastically lately as the other posters have said as well. Just a sign of the times and economy. But there are still some rare ones selling for decent money. If you tried to sell this same sized piece last year, you would have likely gotten much more.
