Fragging Leathers

What's the best method for fragging leathers?Using rubber bands or just cutting? #reefsquad

IMO. Cutting.

I just cut them and then use rubber bands and toothpicks to secure to a piece of rock rubble until the new cuts attach to the rock.

I agree with @saltyfilmfolks and @dbl .Be sure to do this in a bucket outside of the aquarium as they tend to release toxins.

Thanks for the advice guys, can't remove the leather because it's attached to a base rock.Would just cutting it in my BC 29 and running some extra ROX Carbon help remove the possible toxin release?

Some good carbon should do the trick.Just keep a eye on things.

How big is the piece you are trying to cut? As long as it's not a bunch or a very large piece it should be ok. And the carbon wouldn't hurt either.

Just a little finger(not sure if that's the proper term lol), it's something like 0.5"
