How did you beat the briopsis? I'm struggling to eliminate it. Emerald crabs and lettuce nudibranch are holding it at bay. Not sure how reef safe the emerald crabs are lol.

Looking good!

I beat a bad case by raising and maintaining a high magnesium level.

I first fixed the water issue I was having. 2nd I started dosing Tech M. I can't remember exactly how much I used, but it was a lot! After that, I had a lot of cyano and hair algae come in. I used Nopox for a bit but didn't use it long enough to say if it really did much. Lastly, I added a lawn mower Benny and a yellow tang. Haven't seen any algae since!

I know that's not a great answer, but I went through five months of battle and it was horrible. I would never wish that on any other reef keeper.

If you decide to try Tech M, go the Amazon route and get the larger bottle. It will save you some coin.

Oh crap! I left out a large step I took!

I ended up taking out every rock and drenching them with peroxide.

That really helped! It was a major move, but I had had it up to that point.
