There are freshwater forums (I've been doing FW for a long time), but I've never found anything like R2R for FW. Good luck with your search - sorry not to have better news.

I looked for a FW forum a long time ago and joined Tropical Fish Forums, though I didn't really remain active since I've been in FW for 20+ years.
I didn't have nearly as many fresh water questions as salt. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Does anyone no a site like reef2reef for freshwater? I recently set up a tank but don't want to share here if we want to keep reef2reef for our saltwater tanks.
There is TFH.com and other sites. Someday you will find your increased interest in Saltwater. As I owned an LFS for many years, feel free to ask questions

I would still like to see the tank and the fish! I love freshwater, had freshwater all my life until I saw my cousins saltwater tank and then walked into a fish store and saw the saltwater fish… then went darkside lol

There's nothing like r2r for any hobbies!

I use Monsterfishkeepers - it’s mainly geared towards predatory or aggressive fish, but most of the people there are really knowledgeable on all areas of fw.
I don’t think you’ll find one nearly as active as r2r though.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
