Hi there!

I had a banana wrasse that decided it liked the taste of chalice (RIP chalice) and frogspawn(I think that's what this is).

As a result, it's hurting pretty bad, but the wrasse was captured and returned to the store.

What can I do to help it heal and rebound? Also, I can tell it doesn't like higher flow areas, but what lighting levels is it most comfortable in? I've got 3 Hydra 26s on a Red Sea S500.

Medium flow should do it. It should bounce back if the wrass was indeed the reason. If it was dying and wrass was cleaning it up it might continue to die.

When most all corals are thriving, what would cause this one to be dying?

My birds nest died off a bit around the same time period, but my softies are doing well, GSP thriving, hammer doing well, galaxia doing well.

My nitrates/phos have been undetectable so I've been working on correcting that and I noticed the polyps on the frogspawn started to get some darker color from being bleached out, so thats promising.

Lps can be harder than we think at times. An ICP might help pinpoint potential issues to improve, yet beyond that having it in medium light and medium intermittent flow is all u can do.

Icp test is a lab grade test for aquarium water that will test around 45 elements we cant test for.it can explain issues at times but if allbur coral are doing great then most likely things are fine.

Actually think I incorrectly labeled this coral a frogspawn, but its some kind of torch.

When I see a hint of color and or polyps there is always hope. I would direct feed it as well

That's what I'm saying! Direct feed w/ what? I've got reef chili and frozen mysis and rod's reef.
