Friends,

I have been having problems with a couple frogspawn frags closing up and or not opening all the way.

I am stumped because I have never had this issue before.

I have tried different heights and depths for placement. I have tried different flow and now flow is moderate.

My water parameters as of 10 min. ago as follow.

PH: 8.19
ALK: 8.9
Mag:1390
Calcium: 440
Phosphate: 0.2
Nitrate: immeasurable
Salinity: 1.025

My only other thought is my lighting. I am running a hybrid with dual kessil A160’s on the Red Sea 350.

I have tried numerous different levels of intensity. Right now color is 20 and intensity is 65%.

I have no way of knowing par until I can get a meter to rent from LFS. Any thoughts? Possible water issues or too much/not enough light?

Thanks in advance!

I recommend trying to dip the coral and seeing if anything drops off it

I know mine will do this from time to time but eventually it opens back up and gets nice and fluffy. As long as it is not totally
Receding and or bailing out.
