Just one corner of it is melting/falling apart

Bacterial infection. Iodine dip/ amoxicillin dip is recommended. Fast action is going to be necessary, as this appears to be a "wall" versus a branching, wall variants die very quickly to disease as there are not individual heads to slow the disease.

The seachem dip is an iodine based dip. That should work fine.
