Ye I wanted to make sure CBB was eating something but I think I’ve done all I can , even fed squid with garlic yesterday. Just gonna stick to 1-2 cubes and nori. Some days only pellets and I think CBB will catch on sometime or just live off the tankdoes sound like quite a bit...
That’s why I had so much chaeto lol , definitly dialing it back4-6 frozen cubes a day is what I'm feeding the 180.
Oh that’s awesome!! Happy to hear , I would always stop for a snake in the road I haven’t seen any in a long time tho. Excited to se your build threadHey
Just stumbled upon yr thread..
Looks like we have things in common. Even i love animals especially reptiles, though the law doesn't allow us to keep them as pets, but i try and do my bit to reduce the animal human conflict by rescuing snakes that stray into human habitat and release them back into the forest.
Regarding fish, looking forward to a new build in another couple of months or so
Yea 2 weeks so far , CBB best friend is salfin tang the most and it’s still a little skittish of me but eats likes a pigYou've had cbb for 2 weeks and the other fish?
My cbb followed my foxface like a lost puppy.
Took all the queues from my fox.
My question is, does ypur cbb's bodyguard trust you?
My only suggestion is, focus on getting the sailfin to trust you. The cbb will follow. They are very delicate and is probably why they are so timid. Once the cbb sees the sailfin trusts you, she/he will follow. Grazing on live rock is a good thing. Could be eating prepared foods behind your back.Yea 2 weeks so far , CBB best friend is salfin tang the most and it’s still a little skittish of me but eats likes a pig
Thank you! Maybe will try feeding salfin using turkey baster to build trust Other than that not too sure on how to do it lolMy only suggestion is, focus on getting the sailfin to trust you. 5 minutes, sit in front of tank. Drop food. Sit in front of tank 5 more minutes. Do this as often as possible. Doesn't need to be a lot of food. A bite here, a bite there. Sailfins are easy to gain the trust of. Most tangs are really. Don't really need a turkey baster for this. Always use slow movements. They learn fast where the food is coming from.Thank you! If you make it to where food shows up and they aren't seeing you are the reason why, they will shy from you.
This video, dragon wrasse in the wild kick up a lot of things and fish swarm them for scraps. enjoy
He is pretty chunky and not afraid to eat all the aptasia / worms off rocks, still had not seen him eat prepared foods hoping in time. He’s currently glass surfing again sadly there’s a party here today so candles/ cleaning going on and lots of people probly stressing itCbb looks chunky in that pic!
Maybe I'm going blind. Doesn't look like he's starving. Hopefully, he's found a nice hiding spot. These fish can really take time to warm up to one.
