So far so good with my fingers in the tank at feeding time. I'm used to Snow White being a bit bitey(I'd use different words if I could ;)) and go after me when I'm feeding but she is getting a little better. So I kept an eye on both of them and they were fine. I love that this fish is not afraid of me walking by the tank like my Tang is. And he's up front and center too. Everyone is fine with each other too.

That's what I thought, but I had no idea about the venomous part until you mentioned it.

Neither did I until I got it home and was doing a little background on it.

Love watching them swim, I chuckle seeing their whole body wiggle.

I love the tail on this one. The lyre tail has some long streamers and they flow really cool when he wiggle swims

I had a flame tail blenny in my last tank. He was our favorite.

We got him and a royal gramma at the same time and named them Lenny and Squiggy. Some of you younger folks may not get the reference.

Anyway, he is a gang blenny as well.

The fangs primary purpose is defense in case they are swallowed by a larger fish.

They will bite the inside of their mouth in hope of a release.

I never saw him try to bite anything and he even ate nori out of my hand.

Congrats on another cool fish!

Venemous if they bite? Never new that either.
Copied from Live Aquaria - The Canary Blenny is considered venomous and should be kept only with caution around children having tank access since it may perceive fingers as an attacker and deliver a similarly painful bite.

Still a very cool looking fish, I think your safe as long as you don't feed it fingers. :D

Still looking like it's splitting to me. What makes it bubble or not? Flow? This is the spot it chose and I highly doubt I could make it move but look at the stretch in the tentacles and the twist in others. It is getting flow from the draw of pump that is above it and it ebbs and flows with the pump. @Amoo @FarmerTy

Fuds, did it ever split? I just looked at the wife's tank this morning. It looks like she had more splits. I'm guess around 9 now....hitting hers with the 2nd dose of FW Exit today and thinning these puppies out.

Nope, no split. It still looks like it is but it hasn't completed it.... Maybe it's just me???
I think my wife has been dosing her tank with some of her crown when I'm not looking. :D they seem to be exteamly happy nems.
