Here's a quick video recap of the evolution of my Reefer XL 425 from Feb 2018 - Dec 2018:
Now that is a progression shot! Nice job!
It's a Red Sea Reefer 525XL. Dimensions.... 59"L x 22"H x 22.6"W
The only reason why I went an SCA Rimless 150 is b/c I not a fan of REDSEA systems, they are way overpriced in my opinion. I would prefer, to customize my own sump and tank even know they are great tanks but how many gallons are the 525 and the 750s?
SCA 150 RIMLESS Custom drilled for a 20'' Synergy Overflow box
The 525XL is 139 gallons total water volume. They are overpriced but really nice. I almost went with the SCA 150 and had it drilled for the synergy. Awesome tank. Congrats!!!!
Thank you! It’s all grown from frags, I mostly just sit and watch.
Day one after full reboot, bought the only store in town out of ALL their water, still didnt have enough
Now, approximately 1 year later.
(It was a rough year)
Not as crazy as some people but here is 6 month progress - pretty happy thus far
Very Nice I am so anxious to get mine up and running. !!
One year of adding corals as much as I can. I also have 2 clowns, high fin goby, pajama cardinal, and a cherub angel. I love this hobby so much I just started up a 20 gallon tank too.
One week after completing removal of 25 year old Jaubert Plenum with changeover to reverse flow undergravel filter. Still cycling some cyno.
