Fuller's Reef - Office Tank

OK, This is about the Office Tank that was referred to in the 75 Gallon Thread at https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/fullers-reef.329205/

This started back when we made a plan for setting up New tanks in the House. However, as most things go, the plan changed due to other things.

In the case of the Office, The first issue was that the ceiling caved in when I was looking at leveling the Floor of the office. The floor was 3 inches lower from south to North over a 7 Foot span. The office had lath and plaster walls and ceiling. When I went to pull the coving from the wall to pull up the floor the ceiling fell in. This was in 2023.

Ok, I have had lots of fun. Now got back to updating this thread.
Some ask for pictures of the office remodel.
This first is with the ceiling cleaned up and a realization that there was a level issue.

This let use know we needed to take all the lathe and plaster out down to the studs and joists.

We then Leveled the floor by sistering joists.

One of the advantages of the remodel is that I could put Merlock tubes in place in the wall and under the floor for water changes and auto top off water. I had planned to put the tank under the small windows, so the power internet and Merlock tubes all got wall mounts.

This will make the tank place fun to run in the future. No buckets of water to carry.

One of the things we did was to add 4x6 supports under the area of the tank location.
