I am planning on putting a large tank on the other side of a garage wall and also planning on putting a sink in my garage. I would like to put in a drain on my sump, that I can drain to the sink for ease of water change, etc.

Would stainless steel be my best option for this, or is there something else that would be better for the sink?

Being able to wash/clean equipment in a place besides my kitchen would be great.

Thanks

My wife kicked me out of the kitchen 3 months ago!
Ive been banished to the utility sink in laundry room. Kitchen sink is stainless and looks about as good as when it was new. Utility sink is the big square plastic kind and has not fared well after 20 years. Tends to stain easily....
Guessing plastic is cheaper but won’t stay as nice.
But plastic might be worth it if out of sight in the garage.
Decisions decisions......
