I rescued a GBTA. It is about 6 to 8 inches. The previous owner said they had a pistol shrimp that ate the tentacles. They claimed it has regrown but I'm curious as I'm trying to give it a better home. It looks much better in my tank. It's not spread so wide out and having an open mouth. The tentacles are nicely exposed like a bubble but small tips like a carpet. Yes, it is not a carpet, I have one and know the difference.

My question is - will the tentacles regrow?

Or if you get some clowns to host it, Clowns will do the feeding for you and help it to be more secure also.
My new bought Green BTA seems a lot mroe relaxed and get fed a lot, all due the hosting Clarkii.

Thanks and I'm seeing some growth in the tentacles :)
