Hi guys, my gem tang suddenly stopped eating - he hasn't eaten any pellets for the past 3 days. Though, he is eating a bit of nori. All other fish/tangs are eating voraciously.
No ich/velvet/flukes since QTd all of them properly with Copper Power and Prazi Pro. He does have HLLE since he just came out of copper treatment a month back. Any ideas what is going on? I noticed his fins look a bit jagged as well. Many thanks in advance

thank you :)

Usually, when a fish stops eating due to a problem, it stops feeding on all foods. Since this fish is still eating nori, you might try another food then pellets, just to see. Do you have any frozen mysids or brine shrimp you could try?

There is some HLLE and fin damage, but neither should cause a fish to stop eating.

I have some flake food on the way. In the meantime, I've tried Aqua Forest Vege Clip and he has eaten that. Looks like he will be fine. Thank you very much!

I hope so, but I do worry there may be something else going on for a fish to suddenly stop eating one type of food.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
