General Cure and Furan 2

I am confused and in an emergency. I am currently treating my crew for Gill Flukes with Furan 2, but the label on GC states Gill Flukes? I am confused here.

API® General Cure powder treats a wide variety of parasitic diseases including velvet, fish lice, hole-in-the-head disease (Hexamita spp. & Spironucleus), gill & skin flukes (Dactylogyrus & Gyrodactylus ). For use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This medication will not color the aquarium water. (Metronidazole)

API® Furan-2 powder Contains two furan compounds to combat a wide variety of gram-positive & gram-negative bacterial diseases, including bacterial gill disease, open red sores (Aeromonas spp.), body slime & eye cloud, black molly disease (Flavobacterium columnaris) and fin & tail rot. For use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This medication will harm the biological filter. Note: This medication will cause a slight discoloration of water which can be removed with activated carbon.
