GEO CaRX possible fix?

To lessen the recirculating pump sucking in Co2 or trapped air, can I just turn this inlet tube upside down or even sideways? So trapped air is above and doesn’t have a chance to get sucked in? Thoughts?

My is at 180 to the picture. When CO2 builds up I crack open the top to let it escape. It doesn't need to recerculate but in theory that improves CO2 useage.

Wait, so you mean you put yours 180 so the inlet is facing down?
