First question: Do Softies, LPS, and SPS corals all grow in the same community?

I learned carpet anemones don’t actually live in the natural reefs with corals. Which got me interested in replicating a real reef.

so, do Softies, LPS, and SPS live together?

Do Bubble tip anemones live on reefs too?

Stichodactyla haddoni resides in the sand flats on the outskirts of reefs”

Honestly most tanks are a mix of indo pacific and others.
We get what we can that is imported or tank raised. Biotopes that target a certin region are very kool. Expensive more so now days than say 10 yrs ago but still doable.

I've been watching a lot of coral reef videos on You tube, it is interesting to see what is growing where, you do see hard and soft mixing.

Generally those corals do not grow together. Different water conditions and flow rates.

This was somewhere in the Caribbean. I forget where but this is mostly soft corals. Probably in a lagoon

Near the same place but more in the open were all sps.

Here in Tahiti it is mostly, or all sps. But in lagoons the types of corals can be mixed because there are micro habitats in those places. But the open ocean normaly has the same types of corals growing together
