Hey all,

I've been lurking these forums off and on since 2014. Had a 90 gallon Reef tank but kept it in our, at the time, unfinished basement. So the only time I'd ever see it was to do water changes, maintenance, etc. and wasn't ever able to fully enjoy it. Plus I took care of fish for a living and it always just felt like a continuation of the work day. So eventually, I sold off the fish, corals, and rock and held on to the tank & equipment, just in case. Anyway, all that to say, I'm starting to get the itch again and need someone to talk me out of it.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! We are here to talk you out of putting it off any longer – come on in!.

Welcome! Glad you joined. My vote: Do It, Do It, Do It, Do It, Do It, Do It !!

Perhaps putting smaller tank in your living area may make the difference.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
