Chef paul prudhomme recipe. @KJ
SEAFOOD DIRTY RICE
1.5 pounds small shrimp
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
.5 cup tomato sauce
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2.5 tablespoons finely chopped bell pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
.5 teaspoon Cheyenne pepper
1.5 cups water or seafood stock
.5 cup heavy cream
3.5 cups cooked rice
.75 finely chopped green onions
.5 pound crabmeat

In a large skillet, melt the butter with the oil. Add tomato sauce,onions, bell peppers, celery, garlic, salt, and pepper. Saute over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add water/stock, and continue cooking over high heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cream, and simmer for about four minutes longer. Add shrimp and simmer for about 3 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Stir in rice, greenonions, and crab meat. Heat through and serve.

Ya I have been busy getting kids ready for school and the rodeo has been here all week.
Also my mind has been tied up with all my doctors.
Losing my mind!
How is it at 40 I have to deal with so much garbage :-)

No I got back like a week and a half ago, then went to MACNA, and got back yesterday. Busy summer :D
But now school starts, honestly, I bet the teachers are dreading it just as much as me lol

Ya the fires are still burning but nothing new around here!
I have been trying to get my home business back on its feet so there is a lot of back and forth from business and R2R.

I probably didn't see it, I was off for three days and racked up over 150 notifications, didn't bother checking them all.
I remember when I went inactive for about a month (slow season, lack of wifi in hotels) I racked up 2457 NOTIFICATIONS

Ah, dang. I stayed away for a while and you beat me. Well, it was probably meant to happen. You actually have a reef tank, and I am only dreaming of having one.
