My 1.5-year-old tank is quite stable, but I've noticed a gradual growth of (what I think is) GHA over the past 3 months.

Seeing the pics, if anyone thinks I'm misdiagnosing this, please let me know!

I'm a low maintenance guy, so I've been just trying all the easy recommendations - reduced lighting, blowing off detritus, vacuuming sand, biweekly water changes - but it hasn't stopped the GHA. Any other easy recommendations?

My parameters in recent weeks have been:
SG 1.0240-1.0250
Alk 8.2-9.8
pH 8.2-8.3
NO3 2-7 ppm
PO4 0.00-0.03

Hmmm, I was always on the lookout for that fern shape. Thanks for the feedback - I'll look into reef flux.

I would just get a CUC crew versus dosing something. mexican turbos will tear that up
I do have a decent cuc (ceriths, nerites, astras, trochus, hermits), but none of them seem to go for the GHA. I hadn't considered turbos because I only have a 30g nano tank, but I'll give that some consideration, even if I have to give them away later. Thanks!

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
