GHL connect issues

After setting up my plank auto feeder a few days ago, I am unable to connect to my ProfiLux on GHL connect. It even disappeared from the app. I tried to reconnect it using the IP address and it showed to be connected. When I select it on the app, it never connects.
Now the app won’t even open and I get a white screen that eventually turns black

A firmware update has nothing to do with why you are unable to connect. You're only giving yourself unnecessary work. If you need direct assistance from GHL, please open a support ticket and provide screenshots and details.

With this system I well versed on unnecessary work, believe me.

I was hoping to get some help here from other members as it’s typically a lot faster than opening a support ticket. But I will submit one.

What problems are you having?

Lately my greatest problem is my WiFi router changing the IP address, making it impossible to check my system away from home

That should be an easy fix with a static address.

Yes, or you could connect with myGHL, which would not be affected by the IP address changing.

Yeah that’s what I need to do but don’t know how to do it.

The changing IP address is also causing problems with Hulu. It thinks I’m frequently changing locations.

You can connect to your Profilux as a myGHL device from within the GHL Connect app. Then it shouldn't care what the IP address is.
