Hi

do these bars give much shimmer?

thanks

They give some but not very much IMO - rather similar light distribution as T5 tubes. However - they give very good colours of fishes thanks to the RGB chips they have.

Thanks Lasse, much appreciated.

I have them in this tank - the last 3 years

@Dolphin2409 Here is an example from my aquarium - you need to have small waves on the surface in order to get the shimmer.

Hi Lasse

Where to start - I love your tank. The habitat you have created is absolutely beautiful. I had finished the 5 minute video before I remembered that I was supposed to be paying attention to the lighting. I was mesmerized by the whole display. I think I am going to watch this multiple times as there is just so much to take in. So thanks for the second video just showing the shimmer without any distractions :)

I agree with @Lasse it is some but the distribution is great on them.
Cheers Ditto. I am in Ireland so don't have easy access to some of the LED bars available in the US (Reef Brite etc). GHL seems to be best I can find so far
