Thanks. I'm covering the entire frame in flex seal so that salt and water won't affect the structure. I have never used this stuff before. It's quite difficult to "paint" with. But seems like a pretty solid product.

Just used a 20l for a sump. Lots of fun building it too. But had to move away for new job & only brought my corals & fusion 10 for now. Great build! Saw sale at petco & close to getting another tank now. My entire build is still in FL!

Looks good. I wish I would have put black in for my refuge baffle. I'll probably add a piece of ABS behind it to keep algae from growing on other parts of the sump.

Jumping ahead, but I have a stocking question. My total water volume will be 40ish gallons with a 29 in the dt. Here is what I am thinking:

Pair of clown fish - Wyoming white
Flame angel
valentini puffer

Is this too much for my system?

I have not had a chance to test light but the reviews were good. I'm pretty new to reefing as well so an not best advisor on stocking but read a colum on here about keeping same clownfish together as different ones may not get along.

When you get the light working, let me know what you think. I am looking for a fudge light that works well.

Yes, different clowns cannot coexist in smaller tanks. These two would be a mates pair (M/F) so they'll be fine together.

I really like the idea for the fuge light! The size is awesome. I can't wait to see how it performs.

Designed the hood today:

The holes in the side are for vents. Wine holders at the top. The flap in the middle will be hinged for access. I'll hopefully get it cut and built this weekend.
