Good morning everyone. I am curious on finding glass to make my own tank it will be a nano so nothing crazy big is needed.
Where does one go to buy glass?
Also can I use glass from a place that does car windshields? What kind of glass should i be looking for?

I would just email some local glass and mirror stores and see what they have to offer.

I just bought some for my sump and an online place was going to cost 4x as much as this local place charged me. Plus they didn't charge to bevel and polish the edges for me which the online place had a premium for. They also had a bunch of specialty stuff like tinting and low iron for way cheaper.

I may go this route I just got a quote from glasscages they are fast and friendly it seems but almost 250 for shipping is a but much for me. I have a glass shop down the road I might call. Thanks for the suggestion
