Awesome work and frags.
- We need a video to see how do you frags step by step
- can you give me advices on how to do frags?
- how do you now from where exactly you can cut or do not cut? Is it just anywhere or I have to be careful when I frags?
- what is in the base of the frags? Is it cement or glue?

here you are: the using of 60 second speed cement to make frags - YouTube

i cut with a modified steel plate shear look lit this: Stainless Crimping Steel Scissors (high Quality Stainless Steel) - Buy Scissors,Scissors,Scissors Product on Alibaba.com
i this case i was glad enough to find a way to cut, because the branches were all tangled up.

the base is made of speed cement

So, this speed cement you are using apparently needs no curing time to be safe to put in the tank or come into direct contact with corals? Is this a Portland Cement mixture? Wondering what product might be comparable to this in the USA.

In the amount needed there is no reason to worry if you place the frag into a good flow. In the film you see the water was clouded because of the use of large qiantity speed cement. I was busy placing some frags. This did not affect the corals in any way.
It's a special mix which the manufacturer keep secret.

Glennf, Do you have any clams? What has been your success rate keeping them in your DSR method?

Fantastic tank!

In the past i had few but the succes rate was very low. They died within a few weeks to max. 8 weeks at that time i kept my nitrate and phosphate both zero.

In dec 2013 i purchased one and kept it till aug 2014. I lost it due to a stupid mistake.
