In March 2012 i got ahold of an Oceanic 180g Reef Ready tank/stand for $300. the tank had some scratches but for the price it was worth it to me. i have to do things on a tight budget so here goes a run down of my budget 180g system up to date.

First i had to clean it up.

so i filled it with water and 2gallons of vinegar and let it set for 3 days.

all cleaned up with some sand and rocks starting to go in.

started with a simple sump 55g and just algae scrubber for filtration.

heres it all up and running at first.
