So i had been testing some leds from home depot on one of my algae scrubber screens. It was a 23w 1700 lumen 3700k par 38 bulb same specs as the 26w cfl bulbs i use.

Led second week

Testing also showed phos slowly rising at 0.06 ive switched out the led bulbs and have now been running 4 brand new 26w cfl bulbs. Phos test today showed 0.00 hanna checker. Lower than i would like but i have 20 fish so should be ok this is running no gfo only ecobak started at 500ml in mid october 2012. Algae scrubber screens are both 7"x8". Well see how the phos are over the next few days and how the corals react.

I would love to tell you it looks great, but noone at r2r seems interested on fixing the app after the update, or giving info on how to fix. So I can't see your beautiful tank.

Looks good Mike. I'm still not where I'd like to be to try Acros again. My first couple attempts didn't play out to well. I think I'm gonna wait until I have a significantly larger tank to try them again.

Glad to hear!

Nice start. I can't wait to see it all grown in.

Thx guys. The tank just hit 1yr old. Ive had a cpl bouts of redbugs stunted growth and playing with leds so some corals havent grown the best they could but i hope thats all in the past now. Been having a hard time believing that low par on leds grows and colors better than high par. But if u look at the way the corals act it would seem so. Im trying to just go by how corals react and look as opposed to using par readings and things have been much better and sps is getting some great colors.
