Looks like an eye infection. Treat with erythromycin (an antibiotic) in QT.
I dont have a QT running at the moment, gonna set one up. Would it be bad to treat in the display tank, in the mean time?. Does that medication do any harm to inverts?. Thank you for the help.

It will harm inverts and your bio filter it shouldn’t be dosed in DT. The rock, sand, and various media will also remove the medication from the water. You’ll also have to dose a lot because your DT is likely quite a bit larger than the QT you would employ. :)

Just an update...I was able to save the fish through QT and the suggested treatments but I was too late to save his eyes. I now have a blind Goby . I feed him with a turkey baster and he's eating well and shows no other signs of disease. Let's see how this goes.
