Hello guys, I am thinking about removing all the sand from my jbj45 and go barebottom. Just wanted some input on how to go about doing it and how it will affect my livestock after the removal.

Im acually in the middle of doing this now in my frag tank. Had 2 inches of sand and im down to about a half inch. First i bought some extra live rock and marine pure ceramic balls. Then everytime i did a water change i syphoned alittle bit at a time
