Bought these frags at a well known store in my area in an auction and they both have tissue recession. I’m new to this and was wondering if they will regrow/recover or if they’re just goners.

If there's flesh left, there's always a chance. The goni appears to be a fresh cut. Probably a recent import that was cut and flipped. Those rarely have a chance of making it. But give it a shot. You can try to give it a dip in Lugol's or similar iodine. The micro lord has a much better survival chance. It may also benefit from an iodine dip.

Can you tell us more about your tank? Tank age? Water parameters? Type of lighting and flow?

Just wondering if I should go up there and complain lol. I’m already mad but if they can grow back and have a chance then I won’t make it a huge deal….

Absolutely go back
I wouldn’t buy coral that was receding. That is an uphill battle you have my friend with no guarantee of success
