This is why I hate Gonis. All parameters are good, they’re happy and suddenly gone bye bye.

Is there a hope for this Blaiseball Goni?

Mine never liked my tank either 😢

Aww 😢 so sorry to see. This is why I was reluctant to even get one. However one was given to me, so hoping for the best.

I've been seeing some interesting information on goniopora eating copepods. Maybe look that up and see if that could be a potential issue.

When you say all params are good it’s hard to offer advice. Hope you can share and that things improve. Question: did anything change quickly? Parameters, lighting, location, new coral added? Tagging along. Hope you figure it out!!

I don't know what happened, but me personally I've learned not to put goni's so close together, they have strong stingers and they can kill other goni's. Some play nice but not all.

Same. One will constantly pester another. In my experience it’s not like when they get tagged by a torch or something. It appears to be a more drawn out process of partial to full retraction on the portion being irritated and then the flesh just starts to go there. Sometimes you get lucky and it appears they come to some sort of acceptance of each other but once it starts it’s unlikely to stop on its own
