I ordered a bunch of coral on Jan 6th. It finally got shipped overnighted ups and was to be here Friday. Then it got delayed In Boise (2hrs from me). The new delivery date is Monday. My wife spent hours on the phone trying to find out exactly where it was so we could maybe just go pick it up on Friday, big run around with now answers, finally found out yesterday (Saturday) it was still on the original trailer. Tracking still hasnt updated, still has a delivery date of Monday.
Its all zoas and acans.
I realize this is maybe a pointless post but just want someone to ask, Im sure they are all dead by now arent they?

Never ship for Friday delivery. Always ship from Thursday at the latest.

UPS doesn't cover live animals. The only thing they would do is refund the cost of shipping. Unless they claimed act of god or mechanical failure which they always do.

In case anyone is curious, the acans are all dead. My snails are alive though. Not sure yet on zoas. None stink or seem to be melting so after acclimating them I put them on my sand bed and have my fingers crossed.

Just an update, all zoas died too. 15 frags total all dead. So aggravating knowing they were stuck on a truck and I couldn't do anything. $400 down the drain too.

That's terrible. Sorry for your loss. It's happened to me as well.

Not much you can do, other than avoiding Friday delivery in the future. Corals might be able to survive an extra day in the bag if the temps aren't extreme. Definitely can't make 4 days though.

This isnt the first Aquasd story like this this winter. Why do they continue to offer a shipping for friday delivery? Doesnt seem like it works out very well.
