I feel like this coral deserves some love, hard coral to photograph maybe that's why we don't see it much, but very pleasing to the eyes in person. It has a nice deep blue body with almost yellow/green halos on the growth tips, polyps are a Bright burgundy red.
My photo makes it look purple with crappy color but is far from it. Also not the best picture as its soo deep in my tank, I may move it just to get some nice pictures. Hopefully someone else can post some sweet colonies of this beauty.

yes it is a nice blue color! Just hard to get a nice picture. Here a photo from reefs.com

It is RM-LED blue with real red polyps, but it looks good in any lighting. I will get a photo of mine later. It is really hard to photograph. The colors in post #3 are pretty good.

There are handful of corals that are similar like Merlin's Staff and this one is the best of them, IMO.

Here is another picture sorry not focused.., will work on a close up and better camera settings to make it look less purple, it is a pure blue coral 100%.

Looks just like BC Adam Bomb in low light even gets the same yellow-green tips

I'll take your word for it. How does your Adam Bomb compare to the Cookie Monster? Are they in similar light?

I need to see one in person. I got a tiny brown encrusted booger from a LFS because I felt it looked like arc fireworks. The more pictures I see of this the more I think it's the same piece. Red polyps with a striking blue growth rim. Very hard to photograph too.

Gorgeous coloration on these guys, keep em coming!

Arc fireworks and gonzo cookie monster are the same species different color polyps. Cookie monster first fireworks second.
Id actually say adam bomb is the same species but redder overall, still growing out that colony.
