Got my mag 18 pump delivered after a 2 day delay!
Now I see why it was delayed....

Honestly, I think you messed up by even opening it. I would have taken a picture of it when first received / seen. And went straight to the office and set it on their counter and opened in front of them.

You patch that cord and I can almost guarantee it would start. The things I have used/done with my mag 9.5 it shouldn’t work 11 years later. I’ve replace every sheared off volute screw on it but it still works.
