i'm late checking in. my excuse: i started cooking just after breakfast. just winding through 60 dozen, pic of the production line for your enjoyment. quality control is a rough job but i have to do it for the sake of the people expecting these to taste up to standards. thought that would take longer so setting up for another 60 dozen. (2 dozen per tray)

I am thinking of using steel pipes

1/2" conduit, works well... ;) but paint it...:)

pvc is simpler for me with all the different fittings.

Morning all!
Holy cow, crazy storms here overnight. The line is just now passing us and it’s only raining lightly now.
So, this is either an amazing thing or I was hallucinating from all the meds. We have a bunch of solar powered butterfly mobiles hanging in one of out trees. They light up at night but if it’s a cloudy day, they will only stay lit for a few hours. They came on at dark last night but dimmed down and went out by about 7:30pm. The storms woke me up at around 3:00 so I went out on the front porch to lave a look. Every time there was a lightning flash, all of the mobiles would light up for about a minute then go out. Talk about a “quick charge”!

Lots of little chores to get done today. I had planned on moving some more leaves but it’s too wet out there.

I can tell I didn’t get enough sleep last night. Put my egg in the pan and didn’t turn on the store. I was wondering what was taking my egg so long to cook. Then made coffee and forget the coffee. Had a nice cup of hot water.

I did try out one of my early Christmas presents to myself...heated gloves! Those things are amazing. I'm such a cold weather wimp. Go ahead and laugh, northern people!

All my cars have to have heated seats now. And I was born and raised in Iowa!

I am many states away from the ocean, east, west, south, north...

Good afternoon. The hip is still functioning. I knew my dog would do just about anything for attention, but here is a new one. I am one crutches and hold one leg up, as in bent at the knee. The dog (who I confirmed doesn't have anything in her foot) will walk up to me and stand there holding one leg bent up and staring at me for some attention. She only does this to me. It's hilarious.

Awe, she feels your pain.

@Mike from TN stay safe! My daughter at SIU was texting me late last night about all the tornado sirens going off. She hates storms and gets anxiety from them. I don’t know why cause she’s never been in a tornado or any really severe storms. Then they had another lockdown because of a shooting near by. But I guess it’s nice to know that at age 19 she still needs her mommy:)

Good Morning! I know it is Monday because the trash trucks come by about 8AM every Monday and the recycle truck every other Monday. i know this as a retired guy. before i retired i was at work by 7 and knew not the joy of the trash truck hydraulic sound gently lifting me from slumber. Tuesday on the other hand is the dumpster lifter truck at the sub shop behind me. may your alarums be as benign, as mine.

I walk through here every morning. Mibu, we have plenty of homes here, I think you need to move. :)

That is something we all would love to see. I never got bored of the ocean when I was able to visit. From the beaches of tampa florida or seattle washington alki. But, I played where all the rocks were. That is where most the life is.

I wasn't paying attention to that center rock. That is something else. I was looking left and right, not the center. :(

After having my little one, he had colic until after a year of age. This was me for many mornings.

Good morning, made breakfast. little one has a cold. Runny nose all night, slight cough. No fever, just uncomfortable. He didn't eat much yesterday. Now I know why my mom worried when I did eat. It happens and loss of appetite is normal. But, it's harder for moms to handle than dad's. Dad "The kids will eat when they get hungry".. Mom "no they are going to starve and die!"

Good morning! Highly productive so far - made a bagel, drank some coffee and managed to not break my coffee mug like I did yesterday. I shouldn't try to carry a full cup of coffee while on crutches.

Good morning! It's 20 and supposedly going to snow a 1/2 inch today! We might get 3 or 4 inches this. No where near the amount we need. Up top where we normally have 7 feet we have under 6 inches.
On the happy side, I get a record i won on Ebay today. Cliff Burton's last show. I am stoked! Have a great day and stay safe!

I forgot to say good morning! I don't think I'm quite "with it" today either. My favorite is when I put the K-cup in the Keurig and forget to put a mug under there. That can make quite a mess! That little drip tray isn't quite enough.

It's storming here right now, and I'm almost out of my Red Sea KH/Alkalinity powder. I think I have enough to mix in my ATO, but I definitely need to make a trip to the LFS this week. Always something...
