Good Morning!

Good morning...or at least it was an hour ago. Busy morning! Local kids came by to officially meet the new pup. Our son was the initial guinea pig, but we were hesitant to try the daughter-in-law and 3-year-old grandson until she was more settled in.

She did fantastic! She seemed to remember our son, she immediate won over the daughter-in-law, and our little grandson finally felt brave enough to pet her. She wanted to give him kisses and he didn't like that! :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes: We were very pleased. Our Nashville son/family will be coming down and staying with us next weekend, and we feel much better about the whole situation.

The humidity is lower, the temps are cooler, and we may enjoy some porch time this evening! It may even be in the upper 50s tonight, then back to HOT next week. Have a great rest of your weekend! :)

My car is back. I think I will give it a bath.

I spent Fathers Day in Manhattan, the place I hate the most in the world and if it wasn't for my Grand Kids I would rather have spent it in a rice paddy in Viet Nam.

We also went to a wedding on a roof top in Manhattan. It was in the fifties, windy and everyone was freezing but the most dangerous thing was trying not to trip over the penguins.

Good after-morning! the black raspberries are ripe and almost ripe. i try to wait until they are ripe before picking them but they look ripe until i pick them and see that they are still a little red, still yummy and i get them instead of the critters. Raspberries go with everything!

good morning all... :)
