50's here all weekend. I'm hoping to finally get my christmas lights taken down. Haven't been able to with the negative temperatures the past few weeks.

I had to cut my morning walk very short. I walked a quarter of a mile and almost fell 3 times due to black ice. For the people in Florida, that is when it rains or snows, then gets very cold and that film of water turns to ice. It is very slippery but Dorothy Hamill had no problem speeding past me on her skates. :rolleyes:

I had to walk back on the grass.
(this picture was not this morning, but it is the same street so make believe there is ice all over the place and snow on the grass)

Beautiful walk this morning but I had to come back early.

I got this severe pain in my hip and had to limp home. I tried to spray it with WD-40 but it just made me slippery and stink. I have a new left knee and new left shoulder and I think my hip is getting jealous of all my shiny new parts. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I don't have time for this because my wife can't do the simplest things and she falls all the time so I can't be less than 100% now. OK, I will settle for 67%.

Good Morning. Yesterday I woke up in sunny Hutchinson Island in Florida.



We went to beautiful seaside restaurants.



And a few hours later we landed in JFK New York and the first thing I see is the snow all over the planes in the airport and it is snowing pretty hard. A guy picked us up from the airport and drove us half an hour to our car. Then we had a 2 hour ride back to our house in eastern Long Island.


This morning at 6:00 am I get a call from the same guy telling me he is here to pick us up from the airport. You just can't win.
