Good Morning!

We are pretty happy at home.

Ok but with two new systems there has to be a decent sized LFS within 4 hours of you?

Thanks @siggy ! They're not a bonded pair, but they seem to be getting along pretty well so far. They were in separate tanks at the store which made me a bit nervous. Kinda took a big chance, but I really wanted both of em :) The smaller one is a storm and the other is a fancy snowflake. If they start fighting I'll have to move one of em to the 2nd QT I have in the basement until I can sort it out. The six line wrasse is doing good as well, just really shy.

Both of the clowns have nice markings - cheering for them!!!

*fingers crossed*

Morning Everyone! Happy Monday : /

I think there is one at Columbus. That would be a 7 hour round trip. I have heard it is nice but I heard that about the one I go to in Ashland, Ky that's 50 minutes away. They sell xenia for 70 dollars a stalk.
Tiny pieces of soft corals are $200.
I still have issues. Long car trips are not my thing anymore.
I am about to start the process to maybe deal with that. I have a lot of willpower and have pushed through it but an reaching the point where I just sit down to many days. I still get stuff done but not enough.
I wont know until I try. The problem with here is you don't get the best doctors in the world.

Besides my cat needs me.

its not really morning anymore...but i got a late start on account of the whole "today is monday" problem.

that said: Good morning everyone!

This weekend my Apex Jr. finally showed up and i got that all installed! It has a temp sensor and a PM1/PH sensor. And it is currently controlling my Gyre, Skimmer, Heater and Return pump. Hopefully soon i can save up for an EB8 so that i can plug the rest of my equipment into the apex. (dont worry - my lights are controlled by a standalone system that i custom build/programmed - so i didnt want to use up a plug on the apex jr for it.)

also, i finally got around to putting together a decent RODI/saltwater mixing station in the basement! I got some cinder blocks to use as a stand to get my 20 gallon brute can elevated, and i got the necessary plumbing parts to put a valve and a spout on the bottom of the can. so now i can premix up to 20 gallons of saltwater, keep it heated and circulated in the brute can, and then just fill up 5-gallon buckets to my heart's desire using the power of gravity!

I hope yall had a good/productive weekend as well.

Afternoon! Been doing Monday stuff. Instead of work stuff it’s drs appts for the hubbs.

Need to work on this. Won’t show it all as... it’s still very much in progress lol. 81957FF2-48DA-4B50-9DC7-63AD6E563B01.jpeg

Yesterday it was 52 degrees, I had to kick on the heat. Today its 82 and humid!

That was taken an hour ago lol

So this probably wouldn’t be a good time to mention that it was 75F when I left the house at 6:30 this morning and had to turn down the AC for the drive.
