Weather forecast seems to be getting worse for tomorrow. Looks like we have the potential to be in a world of hurt here.
Ive been outside battening down the hatches most of the day.
As of now, strong storms all day. 70+mph winds, flooding rain, quarter size hail and level 3 out of 5 for tornadoes. Yippee!

worry about work? that's a concept I'm not familiar with.
I had a boss tell me I was late on a due date. I'm never late.
if it didn't get finished by the due date, you didn't let me start soon enough.
had another boss get stressed about a project we were on.
my answer... relax, four years from now no one is going to care about this vehicle.
quit worrying.

I don't worry about work that often, but it seems like we're so much more deadline driven these days! The good news is husband is retiring later this year, and I hope to step back from the corporate world and maybe do some contract work for a few more years. I need to spend more time with my grands....shift my worry to more important stuff, like toys scattered all over the floor! ;Joyful

Gearing up for severe storms here tomorrow. Risk for our area is 3 out of 5! Heavy rain, damaging winds, hail and medium risk for tornadoes. Gotta love Springtime in Middle TN.
Didnt sleep very well last night. I think I bruised my tailbone when I fell.
New SPS’s showing up today, WAHOO! Can’t wait to see them in person. I’ve had good luck with Top Shelf Aquatics before.

I finally got up the nerve to release the Kole tang. He's swimming above the acclimation box, which is now housing Mr. Naughty Clown!

How long did it take for your clown to get acclimatised? And your other fishes to accept him? Mine has been in the box 3 days, and my wrasse doesn't seem to be very welcoming?

The fans turn on in the 240 lights and it sounds like an old plane starting on a cold morning. I added another smart plug for them yesterday. They quiet down after a minute.

The morning motor skills test. Get the MP40 wetside cover and put it back on with lionfish and a long spine urchin in the tank in the dark.

Passed.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day all! One of my favorite Irish blessing that I had on the side of a mug...."May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows your dead." That is what you usually hear, but here's the whole thing:

"May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven
half and hour before the devil knows you're dead."

I am here in the States because my Grandfather had a price on his head from the Black and Tans (during the Irish Revolution), and had to leave Ireland.

Enjoy the day....the day when everyone is Irish.

Good Morning and Happy Saint Patties Day. We are having a bunch of company for dinner so I am baking a bunch of Irish Soda Bread. I am Sicilian so it is a stretch but my friend is from Cork in Ireland and I have his Grand Mother's recipe. :D

I baked a small test loaf a few days ago, and ate the entire thing so it is good. :cool:

A Sicilian cooking Irish food.....down right sacrilegious! :oops::oops::oops::oops::oops: It's a good thing today is Saint Patrick's Day where ALL are Irish today, so you can get away with it today Paul. Might I also suggest Colcannon.....delicious! You're already most likely having cabbage.....and this combo makes it taste so much better. And goes well with whatever meat product you're using. And FYI, Corned Beef is Americanized Irish food.
