crappie fishing Friday.
when the lilacs bloom I'll be out whipping on the St. Clair River. usually it's a 3 man/woman (the mrs) limit for us each night.

Got the sliding door and the opening roof vent on the greenhouse this morning. The door squeals very loudly when it slides in the tracks. Adjusted and lubed it but it’s still “crazy” noisy. I have an automatic vent opener/closer arriving tomorrow to install. It’s a gas ram that opens and closes depending on temp. Pretty cool, if it actually works.
Looks like this thing is going to leak like crazy so many tubes of silicone and a new caulking gun are on my list for Lowe’s.

Mike, that one and 8 or 9 others are going in an art show in a gallery here on Long island. Unfortunately that particular piece will cost much more than it is worth because that antique oiler and other parts on it alone cost about $2,000.00.
I myself wouldn't buy it.

The main part was made here and are not available any more.

Mike, not sure if Lowe's carries it, but HD does. The silicone caulk you want is specifically made to stick to plastics. In HD it's not with the other caulks in the Paint Department, but back where they sell acrylic sheets. It looks like this, and last time I purchased was about 8 buck a tube. Sticks like crazy.
