Good Morning!

Good Morning.
My shoulder is healing so well I can't believe it. I don't mind surgeries at all because it is the best sleep you will ever get. I remember when I was a kid, they didn't have the anesthesia they have now so the anesthesiologist would strangle you until you passed out, then they would play Rap music to keep you under.

Now of course they use Ozone and Hydrogen peroxide.
If you ever had any major surgery you know they first make you wear this paper gown with the opening at the back. I will explain why they do that in a minute.

After you are out they put you on this cold stainless steel table. The reason for stainless steel is not that it is easy to clean and sterilize. Thats what the doctors will tell you, but the real reason is because it is slippery.

Then the youngest assistant takes out some bright color lipstick and puts 7 dots in the center of your lower back. (They keep an assortment of lipstick in the OR for this reason)

Then they turn you over on your back.

The senior doctor grabs your head and the resident takes your feet and they spin you around as many times as they can to see if they can get your head to face north. (It's called Spin the Patient)

All the medical people in there take bets to see how many spins it takes. The winner gets half of the pot and the insurance company agent (also in there) gets the other half.

Now when they turn you on to your belly and can clearly see that those lipstick dots became circles on the table. The stainless steel makes it easy to clean the lipstick off which is why it is called "Stainless".

Naturally sometime in there they operate on what you are there for. ;Happy

This was started by Hypocrites. Him and his friend surgeons were operating on one of the Roman Emperors . (I think they were replacing a heart valve with a LLama heart valve. )

Just as the game was over and they turned him over, Galileo walked in to ask for directions to the highest mountain to try out his new telescope and he noticed the red circles on the table
and said.

"OMG" those circles look like the orbits of the planets, so the Earth must be round. I can't wait to go and tell the Pope. :D

The reason we know this is because of those people who died and had an "Out of body" experience where their heart stops and they rise up over their body and can see whats going on. Thats also why they don't want to come back.

If you don't believe me, Google it.
Good morning everyone! Paul, what you didn't know is that most people keep their underwear on with those hospital gowns. The nurses do a butt evaluation when you arrive and decide if they want it uncovered for viewing during the operation. Congrats on passing the derriere test!

@MrsBugmaster
My heart goes out to you. We have lost several and it never gets any easier. It is worth it though. Animals are our very best friends.
We have always found a new friend to take the role the old one left. They can never be replaced.

OOf
We got the 75 moved and my helpers pooped out.

Bear found the cat food.
Winter storm watch so the power went out.
But we have a generator now HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Everything works. 1st time. Sitting in the dark counting, will it or wont it go? YES. After about 10 seconds.

I got an A in physics class a long time ago. That is where you learn about moving 350 pound things around by yourself. Plus watching shows about how ancient people built really big things with simple stuff. Jill did help get it the last 1/2 inch by holding the stand so it wouldn't move.
It's on there.

That's enough for this week. I have other fish things that must be done. The RODI is all apart awaiting new everything.
I have to do the sump upgrade before plumbing this anyway.

A very sad day today. We had to say goodbye to Snuffy after 16 years. I already miss him so much. He was my constant little companion.
I'm so sorry!! I'm still not over saying goodbye to my sweet girl last July. It's so hard. Snuffy had a great family for 16 years, which is amazing...that's a long time. Doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye, though. :(

Good morning. Snow is here. Ok, pretty, now bye-bye snow. I've moved on to spring! Going to be cold and blustery today/tonight, so maybe I'll stay inside and finish the taxes...come to think of it, I've said that every weekend for about the last month. ;Meh

Have a great day! :)

gggooodd mmmorning all... :) no snow but brrr it's cold...
condolences MRS B..."hug emoji" ...

This morning Louie and Kit wanted to go out on the deck. They scratched the glass of the door. Snow is piled up against the sliding door. I opened it a crack and said see you cant go out.
Louie looked around and then he reached out with his foot and pulled some snow in the door. He and Kit sat and smelled it and then ate it. Then they were happy and went off to do something else.

@MrsBugmaster so sorry. It's never easy.
I already miss him so much. He was my constant little companion.
and you were his and I bet you were the best company he could have ever wanted.

We lost our dog Pooch 9 years ago and the mention of her name people in the family and out of it still go "awwwww Poochie, miss that pup".

@WVNed man I was happy that I was getting things done today and thinking I was doing a dang good job but my deeds are pale in comparison.

I shoveled, made sausage gravy and biscuits, cleaned my skimmer, and am getting ready to make screens for the top of the tank.

Someone told me I was passive aggressive today. I guess I should look up what that means. It seems to mean agree with them. That's what I did to make him say it. That will teach me to respond to threads.
but how can - 100% throw it away then - be taken as something bad? That was the entire post. All of it. I strongly dislike interacting with weenies.

Good Morning. Like most people I got up and started to walk around and get ready for my morning walk. Of course it was 4:30 am and pitch dark. My wife opens the outside door when we sleep because she likes the cold, but last night was ridiculous.

I can usually see deer outside in the mornings eating whatever grass they can find under the snow, but it is so windy, snowy and cold here that all the deer are flying past our house on their backs holding on to each others antlers.

I can't tell if they are laughing or cringing in fear.
