Yes two of those wrenches WVNed pictured. If you don't have those, borrow or steal them. You need a vise for many things, I have 3 of them and use at least one almost every day. I thought everyone did. :D

Tell your husband to go out and get one but first build a workbench.


He doesn't need that picture of the Supermodel on the door but it helps.
Tell him not to go to Harbor Freight because everything in there is from China and we don't want any of that in our workshop.




Here is my old one from my last house. I practically live on my workbench and couldn't live 8 minutes without it. I hardly remember what the rest of my house looks like. :oops:

Good morning. The ducks are back! We have lived in this house for almost 10 years now and every spring this pair of ducks come back. They hang out on our pool cover. Some days there is more water on the cover and then they swim around for quite awhile. We see them in our yard on and off all summer. (Actually I don’t know if it’s the same pair every year, how long do these ducks live anyway?)

Good morning y'all!!! One of my clownfish racks has (3) 10g tanks draining into a 30g which drains into a DIY sump. I had another 30g in storage that I drilled and added an Eshopps Eclipse M (previous raffle win). This weekend I swapped out the 30g tank with a DIY overflow for the 30g with the Eshopps overflow and in the next few days will replace the DIY sump with the Eshopps Reef Sump 75 (raffle win at RAP Orlando 2022). Eshopps has recently revamp their line of products, improved the design and construction, and now has three levels of products (clearly distinguishable by the coordinated colors: yellow, orange, and blue). Although this sump is their lowest level, I am impressed with the simple, yet quality design and construction. Based on what I have seen of their products in the past year or so at the shows and the few products that I have acquired, Eshopps is making a resurgence after fading into the commodity product space.

Good afternoon. Although it is not going so well. I was swapping over the connectors for the new RO membrane cartridge , cause the new one doesn’t come with the John guest connectors. Got one screwed in and dropped it and snapped it off. Ugh! How do I get this broken piece out? Any ideas?

Take a small screw driver with a blade that fits in the whole snugly and you should be able to screw it out, you might tap it in with a hammer gently.
If it's too tight take same screwdriver and use it like a chisel to slightly dig into the wall of the fitting while you tap it with a hammer in the direction to unscrew it.

If what WVNed doesn't work. Take that flat screwdriver that is slightly larger than the hole in the center but smaller than the threaded hole so you don't damage the threads. Heat the tip of the screwdriver until it is red. Stick it in the hole, It will melt it's way in, wait a minute for it to cool and twist it out.
Then take that screwdriver and throw it out because you destroyed the temper and it will become soft and not work to well except for opening paint cans. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
