Good Morning!

Good morning everyone! I installed the Eshopps sump yesterday (and reworked the plumbing to accommodate) and I am still pleased. As many of you know the "before installation" and "after installation" opinion of products are not always the same! :)

My online dating profile states that I have a comfy corner office with views of the entire city, I drive a $500,000 vehicle, and I’m paid to travel. For some reason, my dates are always upset when they find out I’m a bus driver.

Good morning. Planning to shampoo my daughter’s bedroom carpet today before she comes home for the summer. That carpet will have to be burned when we move out of this house. :grinning-squinting-face: I hate carpet. Removed it all from the main floor and basement when we moved it.

Good Morning! primary day, but most excited because it is 'Grand daughter Home from the Hospital day'! She has been in the NICU since birth 25 April. meanwhile the overflow is bouncing and i need to clean and adjust it. oh and coffee. enjoy the rainy day!!

Good morning part 2: the moss covering the overflow slots and the main siphon strainer having been removed, the overflow is operating nominally again. having coffee and walked the dog in the rain i went up and voted. no line. a bagel eaten and email read, i am ready to move on to my next activity, what ever that turns out to be.
apparently dog pillow is my next activity IMG_4322.jpeg

Good morning. Another day has begun. Things to do.

Once again a life is in my hands. It's this one.

The current best opinion is he has degenerative myelopathy.
We have an appointment at Blacksburg in the hospital. He will probably get an MRI to be sure. If he makes it that long. Some days are better than others. One of those make him comfortable situations.
In the end the decision will come down to me so no one else will have to.

I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. We have been there more than once.

I have been there many times. I am not ready for this one.

Strange how things go. At the hospital for my scope was a lady with a companion service dog visiting patients and visitor waiting areas with a 10 year old German Shephard. She is a breeder and spoke to us about what he has. Not good news. She gave us her name and number if we should like to try again later.

This just hurts my heart in so many ways. I guess the pain is still too fresh...been about 10 months since we went through it. I still can't talk about it...or type apparently...without tearing up (like now). We love them so much.

Good Morning Reefies
opened up the office email to find notification that starting next week
it will be back to the office for two days a week.
"We understand there will be requests to remain 100% remote working
and these will be considered on a case by case basis based on special circumstances, by HR .
time to test the waters to see how special i are.
direct boss told me to stick to my guns, the company can't afford for me to go elsewhere.

today is national weather observers day.
i'd like to observe they rarely get it right.

don't forget to get your mayo for tomorrow.

have a great day.

Good Morning! blessed are those who love for they shall be loved or more correctly shall experience the joy of loving. part of that experience is the pain that punctuates the joy. always allow the grief that you feel the time it needs to be felt. that is the final tribute to the ones we lose.

Good morning
Big storm in Moundsville. Some of the chimney stack on the house next to Earnests came down in the wind and broke 2 windows and took some siding off his house. We took him to get an eye exam yesterday and get new glasses. Today is a visit with the dermatologist then I guess they are going to Moundsville to see about the house.

I put the 20 gallon kalk stirrer into the system last night. Seems to be working. I was changing some settings in Hydros for it and the collective crashed and wouldn't talk to me for an hour but I got it back. Pretty red and green lights which is bad at midnight. At least it wasn't beeping the entire time. I hate beeping.

Jeanna is leaving to go see her nephew Cody in North Carolina. She hasn't met him yet. Then she has to start a large animal surgical internship on Monday.

I generally cry a couple of times a day but it doesn't do any good or change anything. Have fun while you can. Time is short. One of my better rules.

better to let it out than keep it in.

Ya, I know. I just keep juggling lots of chainsaws and bowling balls so when one hits me on the head I don't have time to notice and keep going.

The fish must go on.
I think that's a saying.

Good Morning. After my walk this morning my wife and I were eating breakfast and I had the TV on in the background. We have a Long Island news channel here and they talk about what is happening locally.

They mentioned a murder in a town near here so we listened. Then they mentioned the street and it is the street my wife's family used to have a summer home on.

Then they showed a picture and said the address. It is her exact old summer home.

They owned it 55 years ago when this area was what we called "sticks". Practically dirt roads and it was very hard to get here because the expressway wasn't even built yet.

Does that make her famous?

Good morning everyone! I made the “mistake” of thoroughly cleaning the skimmer when I moved it into the new sump. Now I am going through the process of breaking in the skimmer and having to readjust everything all over again.

Good morning. Out with the old and in with the new! My kitchen is going to be under construction most of the day. The current hole in the granite counter top needs to be cut bigger for new induction cooktop to fit. He said it will be dusty so I tented my kitchen in. Hope this keeps the dust out of my tanks.
